Sunday is the highlight of the week for us, when around 350 people gather together to worship God, hear from His Word the Bible, pray together, and encourage each other. Each Sunday there are three opportunities to gather, with each service having a slightly different style.
9:00am is a quieter service using traditional liturgy. It is normally a Holy Communion service, and the singing of great hymns is accompanied on the organ. The sermon follows the same Bible passages and themes as at 10.30am.
10:30am is our lively family service that includes Kids’ Planet and Pathfinders, our Sunday activities for 0-10s and 11-14s. Once a month and during some school holidays we gather for an All-Age service, led by a youth band and sometimes including the uniformed groups, where children and parents can worship together. There is a television relay room where parents can take young children if need be.
6pm is our most informal service, where the Bible teaching usually follows a different theme from the morning, and the worship in song is led by a musical band. Our Koinonia youth group meets afterwards with food of both physical and spiritual kinds!
