Connect Course – Life Explored – The next courses commence on Tuesday 2nd October in the morning and Wednesday 3rd October in the evening. Seven sessions exposing the little gods that promise us so much happiness, yet deliver so little. Life Explored shows how our deepest desires for happiness can only be satisfied in one person, Jesus Christ. The best gift God can give us is himself. Welcome Course – If you have recently started coming along to Christ Church then why not come along to our next Welcome Course which will be on Tuesday 25th September in the morning and Wednesday 26th September in the evening. The course is an ideal opportunity for those who want to get to know Christ Church and each other better. Courses run termly in our House Café. Equip Course – Real Change – Tuesday 2 October, 10.00am – The Loft, Christ Church House.
A six session course led by Janice Whitman. We all have areas of our lives which need transforming. Some of us tend towards anger or impatience, others towards jealousy or discontent and, in different ways, all of us still harbour pride in our hearts. Autumn term for Small Groups is now running. We have a wide range of groups meeting during the week, both in the evenings and during the day. Thursday 1st November – Cockfosters Community Chorus and Orchestra
Rehearsals commence – 8-10pm – Christ Church House.
We would love you to join Cockfosters Community Chorus and Orchestra to perform at our Annual Christmas Carol Services. Performances on Sunday 16th December at 6pm and 8pm. We welcome all from the community to join the choir (any standard) or orchestra (grade five standard). If you would like to join us to sing or play, please contact our Music Director Micheal Andrews.
Wednesday 7 November – Capital Mass Universal Credit Briefing. The Diocese of London and Capital Mass are offering a 2-hour interactive, practical training session for anyone who wants to know about the Universal Credit reforms and how it may affect those around us.
